Sportsmen’s Legacy Foundation Goes Live

October 4th, 2008

Congratulations to the Sportsmen’s Legacy Foundation on taking their new website live!

Sportsmen's Legacy Foundation

From their “About Us” page:

The Sportsmen’s Legacy Foundation recognizes thousands of children no longer have the ability to spend time in the outdoors due to the loss or incapacitation of a parent while performing public service.

Founded by Dean Castillo, Jr., the Sportsmen’s Legacy Foundation is  currently in the process of obtaining its 501(c)3 nonprofit status.   Dean is an active-duty Navy Lieutenant Commander and founded the organization for the purpose of serving those and the families of those who have sacrificed.

The Sportsmen’s Legacy Foundation provides a nation-wide network of mentors for eligible children who are interested in the great outdoors.

Sportsmen’s Legacy Foundation’s supported outdoor activities include, but are not limited to, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, archery, shooting sports, mountain biking, boating, hiking and camping.

We were honored to take part in the design for the Foundation’s launch site, which uses a custom template on top of the Open-Source Joomla 1.5 Content Management System.

We at high90 wish the Sportsmen’s Legacy Foundation the best of luck in a truly worthy cause.
