PatchQuest, Inc. sells authentic patches, t-shirts and and other aviation-related apparel from their headquarters in Virginia Beach, VA. Everything sold at PatchQuest was originally designed for the pilots and maintainers of US Navy and Air Force fighter squadrons.
PatchQuest was originally designed to provide an outlet for surplus patches that didn’t get sold to the squadrons themselves. Now, thanks to its friendly interface, simple shopping cart and sharp looks, website sales have taken on a life of their own, bringing in customers from as far away as Europe and the Far East.
PatchQuest runs on a custom storefront and shopping cart built with Ruby on Rails. Its distinctive look is made possible by a partnership with noted aviation photographer Erik Hildebrandt.
